Welcome to the class on Screaming!

In this class we discuss: identifying loud, repetitive vocalizations, identifying their function, and provide options for what to do about them. 

Does your bird make a loud call when you leave the room? Does your bird scream at new objects? Do you worry about having people call the authorities because your bird is so loud? Are you the proud owner of noise-canceling headphones?

Screaming is a common problem reported by many pet bird owners. In this class we will help you clearly define what screaming you are experiencing in clear, observable, terms. Then we will discuss the function this behaviour may serve to your bird. Functions help us then find solutions by applying positive reinforcement strategies!
